2. "Process"

5. Browse and Share

Optionally, @Podder compiles show notes (podcast author descriptions) in HTML form and launches your default browser. Use to preview files before playing, for selecting a downloaded mp3 file, or sharing the URL for a podcast.

After each download, @Podder prepares the podcast history as a HTML file organized: chronologically, alphabetic title, or feed source. Use to search for keywords in feed and podcast descriptions, to review your listening patterns, and share your podcast selections

On tab Play Podcast, organize the podcasts by sorting titles, files, time, feed then click HTML All (or checkmark a few and click HTML Marked. Use this feature to parepare a selected podcast list on your website or to share with colleagues.

6. Clean up

Remove uninteresting or inactive feeds by marking then clicking "Delete Marked" on tab Get Podcasts. Note: your podcast history will retain the feed URL.

Delete mp3 files by either (a) marking in tab Play Podcasts then clicking Delete Marked or (b) Click Open Folder to get the mp3 file directory then delete files in the standard Winodws mode. Note: your podcast history will retain information about the podcast and file name and not download the file again although you may manually download the file into the mp3 directory.
You see your free disk space plummeting rapidly? mp3 files average 20MB quickly building into GigaBytes. Examine your deletion habits:delete immediately after listening (checkmark and Delete Marked), mass delete feeds you dislike (sort file names by feed abbreviation prefix), delete oldest. Windows Media Player tracks mp3 files you've heard.

Delete HTML files by using Windows Explorer on the HTML directory where you installed @Podder. @Podder will restore the podcast history files (by title, chronology, and feed)

Shorten the podcast history, if you are good at XML editing, by working on the podczasts.xml file. Now, the history goes on forever, assuming you may be switching among feeds to experience many podcasts.
